Our very first lesson with Amy was very funny :)
In my bag I had a toy frog. So played a story in which a princess kissed the frog in the hope of its turning into a charming prince. Erm... it never happened... But we clarified how a prince may turn into a frog :) (Of course usually a wicked witch puts a spell on princes.)
Then the whole story transformed into a frog family tale: Once upon a time there was a mum frog and a baby frog in a cozy frog house. They ate flies. One day the Indians/Native Americans turned up and captured the frog family. The frogs tried this and that to escape.
In another lesson we played with a game that develops working memory, later a role-play game, we also made a video cars, tractors, quads and dogs were jumping up and down the
cups.
The gym lesson was also fun, especially the ball bath :)
In January we have a new friend, Annisa :) She's fun!
We talked a lot about tales and cartoons and characters. I was really impressed with Amy's English. (Kids who know I can understand Hungarian often can't help and talk to me in Hungarian. This was the first time I heard Amy communicate entirely in English, she knows well that Annisa wouldn't understand Hungarian.)
We agreed that Annisa would tell us an Indonesian tale and we'd tell her a Hugarian tale. Something like this one perhaps:
And Amy told us about her new favourite, "Frozen"
We also played a story about the very shy penguin who was also pretty afraid of Amy's bunny :)
Then Annisa and I were quite curious about that big red funnel-like thing. Amy showed us how it worked.
She ended up under it as a turtle:
